Claustrophobia

Aen Tan, painting
Chalk blend on canvas, medium
DIN A0, dimensions

My entry for Lobby45’s Art of the Month for March. The theme is Claustrophobia. The white paint is a self-made blend of ground chalk, acrylic color and carpenter’s glue. The black base consists of a first layer of aerosol spray paint and a top layer of acrylic black.

This painting is available for sale. If you are interested in having this artwork in your galleries or collection, please contact me for further discussion.

Hey that looks pretty good! it would be so interesting if you splashed red paint and make it look more.. dramatic and cruel. give me a visit on my site man, not done though. haha

    keep up the good work!

Hi Lenin. If I had use red, it would have been too deliberate. I like to keep it simple and this painting is also for me to put my chalk paint recipe in field testing. :)

I’ve checked out your site. It’s black & white too! I’m sure with a little more work, it will flourish. Thanks for the kind comment.

i really like the abstractness of your pictures……..it gives one a chance to picture what he or she wants to envision of your work …great work.
