LushOffice is an interior design portal and showcase for commercial and business spaces. The portal serves both customers and advertisers by offering premium ad spaces for interior design firms to showcase their best works and shopping cart style listings for those looking for interior design services to easily send enquiries to the firms they like.

The entire website is built on WordPress 2.1.3 and made full use of WordPress’s pages and publishing capabilities. The homepage uses Adobe Flash to showcase up to 12 interior design firms interactively.

Another major feature of LushOffice is its shopping cart style listings page, enhanced with Ajax. Users can add any of the listed firms to a cart and then fill up a consultancy form and questionnaire which will be sent to the firms they have selected. The entire process takes place on one single page with no page refreshes, thus reducing waiting time. The Ajax-powered listings page is built on PHP and the Prototype.js framework.
