This logo was created in 2003 for a Texas rock band called SevenStoryDrop or SSD in short. SSD was still unknown at the time but they have since progress into a remarkable band and had gathered numerous awards in Dallas.
The design of the logomark depicts the characters S, S and d in a spiralling tunnel.

if i’m not mistaken, there is that BIG S, then a smaller S
which uses the bottom half of the first one, then that d
in the middle, and there is a circle at the back?
