The heart-wrenching story of Edmond Dantès, fiance of Mercédès Herrera, who was imprisoned in the Chateau d’If on false charges, his lover taken away by his enemies. It was in Chateau d’If that he met Gankutsuou (Ruler of the Cave) whom he sold his body and soul to for power and wealth in return, to exact his revenge.
