Possible Appearances of JI Fugitive Mas Selamat Kastari
The Interpol website has his photographs since 2002. According to experts, he is an escape artist and will very likely resort to disguises and others means of changing his appearance. He may have changed his hairstyle, shaved. He may also be wearing spectacles and headwear. To effectively recognize Mas Selamat, observe the eyes, nose, mouth and face shape and be aware that hair and facial hair may be different.

First of all,since he is malay…geneticaly there will be very strong similarity between other malays…just like other races…will not be able to tell apart from indian and chinese (unless we know this people or this person is well-known).some people might argue they can’t diferentiate…i will give u an example….if u have time…go to little-india…u can seen tons of indian domestic workers…can you distinguish each indivual? unless u are indian or u can speak their lauguage that’s different…i fear this thing might overboard/…in eagrness to capture mas…some sporeon might act irrationally..which could create racial issues….

I feel Malays are more like Chinese than Indians. I agree Indians in Little India are hardly distinguishable from each other. Malays on the other hand, are. At least for me. During NS, Malays in my camp looked sufficiently different from each other.

@ Anan. I doubt there is any salon he can go for extensions. Even if he did, he would look so ugly he stands out.

If the dude is really still in Singapore, what the government should do is to empower all citizens to check their neighbours, to the left and right. All to free access to one’s neighbour for a quick check of the residence (or even commercial addresses). That should flush him out. The dude can’t hide forever. Even Uday and Qusay Hussein were flushed out by vigilant neighbours.

he very good sai…run from so long lor…i know a place to hide if he can run to woodlands…it is behind the singapore american school as there are a lot of illegal immigrants stay ther and had not been caught it was inside a tunnel/cave….i find out accidentaly hope it can help….

I wonder how much longer Gahmen will continue the island-wide search, before they concede he’s already out of the “Fried Rice Paradise”. If Mas Selamat can walk (more accurately - limped)out of a high-security prison, how hard will it be for him to escape to M’sia or Indonesia ?
While I’ve always been fiercely proud of my country, this time, I have learned humility. Funny, suddenly I don’t feel world-class anymore. Just ordinary folks ruled by ordinary people (who make mistakes too). Only thing, their world-class salaries remain.

A few features to focus on - 1) ears are v close to the face 2) obvious bulges on mid forehead 3) moles under the eye 4) eyebrows are v near the lid. These will b important points to look out for. hair etc, can be shaved, altered etc.

While the photoshop effort is great, I expect that the first thing he will get rid of is his beard and moustache. Roving those will make it hard to recognise esp when the wanted posters do not show how he looks like without them.
Also another trick often used in disguises is to trim or reshape the eyebrows as well as using cotton to thicken the skin under the gums of the upper and lower areas of his mouth.
