Kokou — Day 22 to 23

The 120cm * 45cm * 45cm tank I ordered from Nature Aquarium @ Balestier Hill arrived on the 22nd. The stand came in about a week ago. Planting and assembly started on the 23rd. This is a walk-through of the process.

Day 22

Tank Dimensions: W120xD45xH45 cm
Lighting: 4×54W T5 (7000K)
Illumination Time: 10 hours a day
Filtration: Atman CF-1000 external filter, ceramic rings, filter wool and small amount of coral chips
Substrate: ADA Aquasoil Amazonia + Powersand Special (contains Bacter 100 + Clear Super)
Fertilizers: Potassium Sulphate + trace elements mix every 2 days.
CO2: Pressurized system with external reactor, 4 bubbles per second.
O2: 10 hours every night with air pump.
Temperature: 26
pH: 6.4
kH: 1

ADA Powersand Special (containing Bacter 100 and Clear Super) on the bottommost layer.

I went to buy more rocks from Nature Aquarium @ Balestier Hill. I also bought $6 worth of Hairgrass (Eleocharis Acicularis) to cover the substrate.

    hi. whats the fan for? you say to keep the water cool? isnt it tropical?
