One day we will have Tachikomas roaming around keeping law and order, hopefully. Check out this robot by 東京工業大学 (Tokyo Institute of Technology). The quad-pedal walking and especially the wheel-skating movement is very similar to the Tachikomas in Ghost in the Shell. Read more to view videos.
