About This Site

aendirect.com is currently at version 2 and is powered by an excellent blogging tool known as WordPress. The site is coded in XHTML and CSS with some additional functionalities and visual features on Adobe Flash. The typography of the site design is enhanced by a mix sIFR (Scalable Inman Flash Replacement) and pre-made images. The commenting feature is enhanced with Ajax.

Typography

I am a typophile and I absolutely love good typefaces. A good site design is not complete without good typography. I have used some of my favorite typefaces on this site, including:

Min One — AEN DIRECT Logotype (T26.com)
A typeface similar to DIN 1451 and FF DIN but lighter. Designed by T-26.

Kepler® Std Medium Subhead — Article Headings (Adobe)
Kepler is an excellent Serif typeface named after a German Renaissance astronomer. Designed by Robert Slimbach (Adobe).

Helvetica (Mac) and Arial (PC) are used for the browser text..
